SiteLens Privacy Policy
What SiteLens collects
Your account identity (the email from Apple or Google sign-in), the photos you capture, and the metadata baked into each photo: GPS position, compass bearing, timestamp, and a SHA-256 integrity hash.
Where your photos live
Photos are stored on your device first. They are uploaded to cloud storage only when you select them and tap Upload. Cloud copies are stored in a private bucket scoped to your account — no other user can read them.
AI hazard analysis
When AI analysis is on, the captured photo is sent to Google's Gemini model to detect site hazards. The photo is used only to produce the hazard list shown to you and is not used to train models.
Location
Location is read only at the moment of capture, to stamp the evidence watermark. SiteLens does not track your location in the background.
What SiteLens never does
No selling of your data. No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. No background collection.
Deleting your data
Deleting a photo removes it from this device and from your cloud storage. To delete your whole account and all associated data, contact support.
